What made you want to go Greek?
"I never thought I was going to ever go Greek let alone join a sorority. Even as a freshmen here at UW-Whitewater I did not want to go Greek.
In high school I was very social and in a lot of clubs and had a couple of jobs so I was always around people, so I knew I wanted to do something in college but I didn't know what. The summer before my sophomore year my best friend told me that she joined a sorority at her college and that was really when it hit me that I should just go see what it was about.  And when fall recruitment rolled around, I fell in love."

What is your favorite Alpha Sigma or PHC memory?
"How can I really just choose one? It is so hard to pin point which one is my favorite though. I think my most favorite memory though has to be disaffiliation, but not just disaffiliation, but Bid Day during Fall 2013.  Being disaffiliated, because I was PHC secretary, was probably the most bittersweet memory I had and it made me happy and sad at the same time.
On one hand, I was disaffiliated from my sorority, away from my sisters, and away from the one constant that had been in my life for what was going on two years. But on the other, I got to help out behind-the-scenes helping women find the right sorority for them. I got to be closer to the e-board that I was going to share many memories with this upcoming year, and I got to enjoy the time I had with the recruitment counselors from other sororities and learn  more about what they're about. But as soon as Bid Day rolled around, I knew it was time to go home."

An interesting fact about yourself: "I work three jobs to support my way through college and I am a full time student and still loving every second of it."

Three things Megan loves: Music, laughing, and friends

A few quotes Megan lives by:
"To live doesn't mean you're alive."
"One day your life will flash before your eyes, make sure it's worth watching."
"To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world."
"Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional."
